dont ya just hate the fact that tigers live on your sail panels, Ive seen enough of the tiger striping, gator back is cool but expensive so Ive been experimenting with different paints that will cover these stripes and yet add some beauty to plastic, and Ive found a paint that looks good, is cheap and leaves a nice gloss finish resulting in an almost bodyshop perfect result. Im gonna paint my sail panels this weekend. Ill post before and after pics. any takers for masking a truck off?.....lol.

ok here are the before and after shots... I used "Dupli-color universal black" paint found at Pepboys, after surface prep with alcohol and some minor sanding I applied 6 coats of paint allowing each coat to dry about a half hour. Sure does make them sail panels stand out though. These pics take away some of the luster that really shows through. Total cost was about $80 for paint and masking tape.
