And here is an illustration (not to scale by any stretch of the imagination) of the inner measurements - just so you know how much room there is/isn't compared to the non-sunroof cubbies.

Thank you... that will get me started. I am going to need to get someones cubby in my hand to duplicate the round corners, they are a little fun. Jr, since you are wanting one we should meet up. See on mine, I took the inner black part of the cubby out. It gave me more room for led's and terminals and then I could run text clear to the side of the face and have it backlit. So if you just want the plate, and you figure out the lighting Im going to need to know how is the best way to get it in there. Duramax (Ken) took his out as well for the Ave logo I did for him. So we will have to set something up.

Hah!  Are you not worried about getting solicitors calling your number JR?  You're a brave man...

Anyway, Chad: I will be dropping my daughter off for a b-day party at 1pm and have to pick her up at 4pm.  That gives me 3 hours to kill by myself - my boys are going to Water World for my younger boy's 13th b-day, I will now have 2 teenage boys. Ugh.  But I digress.

If you want me to stop by so you can tear into my cubby, gimme a call.  If I don't get a call, I'll try to remember to give you a call later.

My number is on the CAC Contact list pdf that Chuck sends out and maintains (thanks again, Chuck!).  See JR, I'm not quite as brave...

For the lighting I just went to Pep boys and bought the 4" flourescent tube they had and wired that in to direct ignition, there for when the keys on its lit. My first intent was to wire to the lights ckt. but then a change of heart came and ign. feed won. I did however have to remove the black pocket and then I used a piece of aluminum foil (the shiny side) and molded a backing to deflect the light more evenly and it seems to work. Ya kinda have to manipulate the foil until the correct effect is achieved, but in the end it looks great and chadstr did a great job! Clap

Ken,

When I first was deciding on what to light the back of the plate up with I tried to use some blue dome lights and I ran into the same problem, they wouldnt light it up enough, thats why I went with LEDs because I gained some directional options that way. Thanks for posting them.
