For those of you out for the smooth look, when removing emblems and exterior trim you can heat the piece to be removed with a hair dryer or a heat gun on a low temp and then use a length of nylon fishing line to cut the emblem off the truck with short smooth strokes.
The fishing line won't scatch or mar the paint and the residual glue can be removed with WD-40, the same as I described in the "road tar" thread.
